ADULT THERAPY:
The most common reasons for engaging in therapy include the following:
1. You are experiencing personal difficulties: you feel awful about yourself, anxious, depressed or stressed. In other words, you know that there is something that prevents you from evolving.
2. You are faced with multiple life challenges. People commonly need help during painful events such as a serious illness, bereavement, a separation, a birth, a romantic breakup, a loss of employment, etc.
3. You are experiencing difficulty in interpersonal relations (marriage, family, etc...) or you simply feel lonely and isolated.
4. You wish to make life changes. You do not have to be currently struggling to seek therapy. You may just wish to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop your full potential, enrich your life, and engage in a process of personal growth and development.
5. An important decision needs to be taken. You are seeking therapy to get some help analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of your different options, preparing for the consequences of your decision, or evaluating your options more clearly.
